Indiana's Small Business of the Year (Indiana Chamber)
Cannon IV, Inc., was selected as 2006 Indiana Chamber Small Business of the Year. The award, provided for the positive impact small businesses have on the state’s economy was presented at the Indiana Chamber’s annual Small Business Day at the Statehouse on Tuesday, February 7, 2006.

2004
2004 Indiana Business Ethics Award (IBEA)
The awards, sponsored annually by the Indianapolis Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals (SFSP, honors Hoosier companies that exemplify sound business practices and a commitment to ethics.Cannon IV was the IBEA winner in the small company category for those companies with fewer than 250 employees. The award is given to companies that demonstrate high standards of ethical behavior in their everyday business conduct and in response to specific crises.
2003
Innovative Business Award presented by Inside Indiana Business
This award recognizes unique innovations in Indiana public and private companies that have made, and continue to make, a significant impact on the economic climate within the state. Cannon IV was recognized for its partnership with Noble of Indiana, a not-for-profit organization serving more than 2,500 individuals with developmental disabilities and the Occupational Development Center (ODC) in Bloomington, IL. The relationship came about nearly 15 years ago when Cannon IV embarked on a large printer cartridge recycling program. It continues today, stronger than ever, as nearly 14,000 cartridges arrive at Noble and ODC each month and employees remove packaging from the cartridges and sort them by model number before shipping them to Cannon IV for distribution. A complete process has been implemented to send these cartridges to a central location for environmentally-responsible disposal.The venture offers numerous benefits for all parties involved. Noble and ODC clients who work on the recycling program benefit from the full-time employment. And the positive effects for the disadvantaged adults, such as encouraging their sense of self esteem, accomplishment and independence are immeasurable. The project also reinforces Cannon IV’s commitment to recycling and the environment. To date, the recycling efforts have kept for than 2 ½ million pounds of waste out of landfills nationwide.

2003 Spirit of Service Award presented by the Archdiocese of Indianapolis
Presented annually to five individuals and one corporation, the Spirit of Service Award recognizes the efforts of those who give back to the community.Cannon IV was recognized for its printer cartridge recycling program which utilizes the individuals from Noble of Indiana.“One of the highest acts of Christian stewardship is serving people who are less fortunate or in crisis,” said Archdiocese of Indianapolis Communications Director Susan Borcherts. “While those who help are not seeking recognition for themselves, it is appropriate to honor the men and women who have generously given of themselves, for the benefits of others, with the Spirit of Service Award.”Cannon IV has always encouraged employees to value a person’s individuality, trust and spirit. Cannon IV’s partnership with Noble has further strengthened this mission.

Noble of Indiana Noble Wings Award
This award is an acknowledgement of the independence those individuals employed on Cannon IV’s behalf have gained through their jobs in recycling empty printer cartridges.
