With BarSTORM you can turn numerous PCL printers or multifunction devices throughout your organization into full-featured barcode printers. Unique among barcode solutions, a single networked BarSTORM unit delivers barcde printing capabilities to any printer or multifunction device on the network --- up to a maximum of 50 printing devices*.

Overview
- Features the genuine Jetmobile™ Intelligent BarSIMM/BarDIMM™ barcoding technology
- Allows automatic barcode printing on any PCL printer or multi-function device
- Base unit default specification has 1 x USB port unlocked & 1 x Network port unlocked
- Up to 54 x printers or multi-function devices can be connected to a single BarSTORM, as each base unit is software upgradeable by purchasing additional unlocked ports, to support a maximum of 50 x unlocked networked ports & 4 x unlocked USB ports from a single BarSTORM unit
- Over 60 One Dimensional (1D) barcodes and 8 Two Dimensional (2D) barcodes
- Supports full auto encoding and error checking
- Integrates seamlessly with most Windows applications with BDTTGEN™
- Integrates seamlessly with ERP software including: SAP R/3, Oracle, Peoplesoft, JD Edwards and BAAN

Product Features
Install the BarSTORM unit centrally, say in a 'coms' room or server room, connect the unit to a 10baseT/100baseTX TCP/IP network, then depending how the unit is licensed, up to 50 network attached PCL printers can be served with barcodes, fonts and overlays across the network, from a single unit.
Each unit can also support up to 4 x additional PCL printers connected locally to it's on board USB 1.1 ports. Most PCL printers & multi-function devices are supported & can be driven from any system that supports LPR or RAW port printing. |
