CANNON IV, INC. RECIPIENT OF 2006 INDIANA CHAMBER SMALL BUSINESS OF THE YEAR AWARD
Honored At February 7 Luncheon
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Cannon IV, Inc., was selected as 2006 Indiana Chamber Small Business of the Year. The award, provided for the positive impact small businesses have on the state’s economy was presented at the Indiana Chamber’s annual Small Business Day at the Statehouse on Tuesday, February 7, 2006. The awards luncheon was held at the Indianapolis Convention Center.
"Cannon IV has the winning combination," said Kevin Brinegar, President of the Indiana Chamber. “[A] commitment to employees, customers and the community - all in the face of a changing industry.”
When others in the imaging business were downsizing to stay competitive, Cannon IV opted to instead dramatically change its approach. They re-engineered the company's focus from a 9-1 ratio of products to services to one evenly split. This allowed Cannon IV to keep its staff and even add to it. It was a hard road, but it paid off big time for Cannon IV and its employees.
