Faegre Baker & Daniels
Faegre Baker & Daniels case study provided by Cannon IV, a Flex Technology Group company
“Our satisfaction with Cannon IV began with maintenance. When you purchase from many of the vendors all you get is the manufacturer’s maintenance plan, but with Cannon IV you get much more. We’re very pleased with their commitment to providing local support and would be happy to bid them again!”
Faegre Baker Daniels is one of the 75 largest law firms headquartered in the U.S. and has over 750 legal professionals. Their locations span coast to coast, cover the heartland, and extend to the U.K. and China – with regional and national coordinating capabilities across hundreds of jurisdictions.
Because of the geographical spread of their offices, Baker & Daniels contracted with networking companies in different markets for either block-hours of networking service or simply hired IT service to be accomplished on an as-needed basis, resulting in multiple invoices from different markets covering printing and imaging needs.
Baker & Daniels needed a cost-effective way to manage a large printer fleet in a wide geographical area. The Cannon IV nationwide total print management program would enable the IT staff at Baker & Daniels to allocate more time to high-priority projects.
CannonIV assessed and managed their fleet of networked Hewlett Packard print devices using a remote printer fleet software solution, FMAudit. FMAudit gives Baker & Daniels the ability to manage their printing infrastructure. Through FMAudit, they are able to understand and compare what’s being printed and in what volumes by user, location or department.
